I thought it would be good to give an update about the coffee shop. A lot has happened over the last couple months and especially recently. After doing a fund raiser at South Milford Church of Christ in December we were able to hire a company out of South Carolina that specializes in designing coffee shops. This is a very detailed process down to where every piece of equipment will go, along with electric outlets, drains, and much, much more. It includes a detailed document for the construction, as well as one for the health department. All of this was completed 2 weeks ago. There is an image of what the coffee shop will look like, while the seating will most likely be a little different it gives you an idea of the flow and what it will look like.
The second big item is that we our officially incorporated as
a non-for-profit and officially have a name, coffee & cream of South
Milford. The idea of the name came as Andrea and I talked about having ice
cream as well as coffee, and Andrea immediately came up with coffee & cream. However, it is a common enough name that we had to add more to it, so that’s
when we decided to add of South Milford since that is where we will be located.
The third thing just happened and that is we officially have a logo. We wanted something simple and unique and after looking at lots of different options this is what we have. Things are moving along.
